The primary mission of the Rhode Island Italian-American Hall of Fame is to support local, worthy and outstanding college-bound students of all ethnic backgrounds who have excelled in the classroom, in athletics and in the arts.

The student must be graduating from a Rhode Island high school with intentions of attending a college or university. The RIIAHF has awarded more than $150,000 in scholarship awards to Rhode Island students since 1987. Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $4,000 and are typically handed out at the organization's annual awards banquet.
